That's harsh, the previous tennants paid that to disconnect the phone line, didn't have to pay anything to get it though.
Let me know if you fancy a trip down to the local one evening - hopefully more people will join and there'll be more of a community going. Or my flyers will be ignored and this forum will die a death. Probably the latter at this rate.

Hey, how long did you take getting the bt working? Been three weeks. Yeah, hopefully a forum is an easy way to get to know everyone. Be good to have a police officer in the block, although you might find yourself getting called round to resolve domestic disputes.

I've just moved in to number 32 and instead of going around and meeting everyone personally I thought I'd take the lazy option and start a forum.
I'm 30, work for EADS over in Newport and write part-time for a production company in Manchester. I like to jog, would like to join a martial arts club around here and maybe a salsa one also.
Favourite local haunt so far is Herb and Ellies. Until I can get the BT internet to work.
